About the Project
Inspired by their affinity for Japanese Architecture, the owners of this modest home requested the design of a small addition that, far from overwhelming their living environment, would instead
gracefully extend it - drawing together interior and exterior spaces whilst
infusing the whole with a sense of
tranquility and repose.
In this vein, Giraffe Design Build added
a new Kitchen, Dining Room, and Entryway, opening up interior sight-lines and, through the careful placement of windows, connecting the new interior spaceswith the owners’ delightful garden.
