About the Project
Adding only 650 sq. ft. to the footprint, architect Ed Wier and builder DHS Remodeling, Inc., transformed the first floor of this 1960’s Cape Cod on Ann Arbor’s northeast side. Owners interested
in "aging in place" and preserving natural features, enjoy a custom design that fits their lifestyle - now and in the future. The new design features a first-floor master suite,
a complete kitchen remodel, and relocated family room and powder room. This project features cherry Pinnacle Cabinetry and Kohler fixtures through out, kitchen design by Expo Kitchen & Bath, and dramatic counters by Ann Arbor Granite. The homeowners have vastly increased storage space, a closer and yet more private relationship with the natural environment.
