About the Project
Come see this affordable kitchen and
family room addition designed by
architect Mary Kalmes. The expanded
kitchen features Aristokraft cabinets
with beadboard panels, Emerald Pearl
granite countertops, backsplash tile,
and a center island. New oak flooring
runs throughout the remodeled area.
In the new bath you’ll find ceramic tile,
more Emerald Pearl granite, and a
semi-frameless glass shower door.
The Andersen windows and door to
the side yard were selected to coordinate
with the existing home while including
energy-saving low E glass. Outside, the
addition’s exterior was finished with
matching stucco and a new cedar porch.
