About the Project
This is the historic Foster Farmhouse – area names include Foster Road and Foster Bridge.
The project involved the demolition of a 1930s one-story addition to the original historic stone farmhouse. The new two-story addition comprises a Kitchen, Family Room, Mud Room, Office, Half Bath, Laundry, Breezeway, and attached Garage, on the First Floor. Upstairs are two Bedrooms. The addition was designed to compliment the original farmhouse architecture, yet not intended to be a match to the stone façade.
The Kitchen features high quality cabinets, solid surface quartz countertops,
a distinctive zebrawood island top, glass tile backsplash, and southern yellow pine floors. The office cabinets were made to order by Perkins.
